November ‘22 Bullet Journal Flip Through | Inspiration

For November, I decided that I wanted to go more minimalistic (again). I aways flip back and forth between pretty patterns/colors and minimalistic designs with only two colors… what can I say— I get bored easily!

I noticed that whenever I am in a more stressed phase of life, I opt for minimalistic design spreads; and when I am feeling a little funky and perky, the colorful spreads are the way to go! After a few months of the artistic colorful spreads, I always get a form of sensory overload and need to switch back to the calming designs.

Enough about me… lets get to the planners!

Cover Spread and Theme

Firstly, I just HAD to buy a new journal (even though my other one wasn’t full) because I had stickers all over it. Again, when I am feeling funky, I am a sucker for stickers strewn about. But since I need my planner to be a place of control, I wanted to buy a sturdy, clean new journal. I actually really love it, it is super good quality- its by the brand Anecdote.

When I go with minimal bullet journal themes, I like to keep one color consistent throughout the whole journal. Because of this, I chose a brown mildliner highlighter to coordinate nicely with the green journal.

Striped Theme

This theme is very spontaneous for me: I went into it with no plan at all!

As you can see in the photos, my November theme consists of a loose, looped cursive font with brown home-made stripes encompassing the areas around the font. I started this theme by simply writing in cursive, and then realizing it was missing something… so I added some stripes!

Trackers

For this month, the only classic trackers I went with were habit trackers and a sleep tracker. Every month I choose how much of my life to track; sometimes its more, sometimes its less.

Next, I utilized a “happiest moments” tracker to practice mindfulness in my day to day life. I really love the way it turned out, and it was so much fun to use!

Daily Spreads

This month, I went with a loose bold cursive font and shaky lines made out of my mildliner highlighter.

For my daily to-do’s, I made shaky bold boxes out of the same pen that my cursive font was in. This way, I could make sure the theme was cohesive.

I love using little stickers to reward myself!!

For the heading, I continued the shaky marker lines and added the lettering to show what week it was.

Here is a close up of one of my weekly spreads. I love the layout of four rectangular boxes on each page, that way each day gets its own designated spot… and of course there is room for an extra box that is perfect for keeping notes and ideas.
